This wine packaging by Stacked Wines definitely caught our clever eye instantly at the local Albertsons. The shape alone is unique and unlike any other wine bottle we’ve seen. Then, at second glance we realized… 4 individual cups of wine STACKED to look like one wine bottle. Our minds were blown!

...Apple iPhone, that is! There’s been a lot of talk around the office recently about the long awaited launch of the new iPhone. We can’t wait. In preparation for the big day we’re doing some pretty serious research into the protection of these little devices. Some of our favorites include a typographic representation of California, an illustration of some of our favorite creative weapons and of course, an 8-Bit star wars illustration.

We’ve heard the story 100 times.
Boy meets Girl.
Girl gives Boy her number.
Yada, yada, yada. Boy and Girl fall in love…and get engaged. Obviously.
It all seems so easy…until the wedding has to be planned. Yikes.
But YOU ARE IN LUCK! This weekend, Fizz and Frills is hosting an event to help all brides-to be!
Phew. Meltdown avoided.
And what makes this event even cooler? Our client, Nifty Gifty will be there. Check it out; you won’t be disappointed: http://www.fizzandfrills.com/participants/niftygifty.html

3 more days.
Oh the anticipation.
3 more days until the London summer Olympics officially kick off and we find ourselves glued to our TVs cheering, screaming and rooting for team USA.
But of course, being the designers that we are, we were just as excited to see the entire, cohesive London games graphic look unveiled. Having seen the logo several years ago, we already knew that the London games were going in a completely unique visual direction. We were not disappointed. From the color coding of the events, to the usage of the custom font carried through to the numbers on the track; the thought and details that go into branding a world wide event of this magnitude are truly amazing. We tip our hats to you London, well done… well done…
However, we might not feel so gracious once Michael Phelps is in the pool….

Field Trip Friday
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) on Thursday 24th May 1 comments
Remember back in school when it was field trip day? It was all about getting that permission slip signed so you could cram onto the yellow bus with your best friend (who hopefully didn’t forget her permission slip on the kitchen counter), leave campus and experience something new and exciting. So much cooler than being stuck with the PE teacher doing the alternate assignment with the two other kids who didn’t know how to forge their parent’s signature. Rookies.
Yeah, that was us last week.
Friday, we ventured to the downtown MOCA to experience the Andy Warhol exhibit and to find new sources of inspiration. Clearly Mrs. Gabor wanted her students to step away from the computer, get “off campus” and see an art exhibit that would be a creative resource. Like all good teachers, she knew what she was doing. It was a day of visionary art, creative conversation and new perspectives. I think we all got A’s (well… most of us… we can’t vouch for Drew…).
And obviously, we had to eat at the new Umamicatessen for lunch. Kind of wish we could brown bag their sliced meats, truffle fries and donuts everyday. But then again, maybe they were magical because we were on a field trip and everything is a little more awesome when you are not stuck in 3rd period.
Naaaahhhh, on second thought, they would be amazing any day.

Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, just go. You won’t be sorry.
And a huge THANKS to the team at the Venice Family Clinic for allowing us to brand the event! We loved helping you put your best visual “foot” forward.

Okay, so these funky little QR code thingies are showing up everywhere these days, so why not print them on condom wrappers?
Welcome to www.WhereDidYouWearIt.com, allowing people everywhere to track the location of their latest encounter and, yes, rate the experience. The point of the codes and accompanying website is to (other than explore what a condom typeface would look like…wooo!) send a message of safe sex awareness using folks who are already comfortable with both social media and their sexuality. Everyone should know that lots of people are having safe sex and are darn proud of it. So come on, everybody…lets get sex out of the bedroom and onto the computer where it belongs!
